The mining history of the Copper Country, Ontonagon County and that of Iron County date back to the early immigrants of the Upper Peninsula. Although the mining industry was phased out many years ago, The Miners State Bank has flourished by serving the current industries of tourism, logging, retail, manufacturing, agricultural and service industries, while still maintaining our original name as a tribute to those early customers.
