Community Involvement

The Miners State Bank is proud to provide service and support to the Upper Peninsula. As a Community Bank, our focus is hometown investment.  We put local dollars back to work in our community through loans to local businesses and home owners.  The bank and its employees donate leadership, service hours and financial support to many local causes.  We are proud not just to be in our community, but part of it.

UP Rodeo Week

Employees in Iron River had fun this past week and weekend for the Upper Peninsula Championship Rodeo, wearing their rodeo t-shirts and handing out bandanas for the parade. Already looking forward to next year!

Happy 4th of July

Ontonagon Hometown Christmas

This past weekend was the annual Ontonagon Hometown Christmas celebration! The Miners State Bank participated in the indoor business decorating competition and was awarded second place! It was a great job done by our Ontonagon team. 

Giving Tuesday: TV6 Canathon

Employees at The Miners State Bank have been helping feed a hungry neighbor throughout November and you can too! Donation drop off boxes are available at our locations through December 1. Happy Giving Tuesday!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Throughout the month of October, The Miners State Bank employees wore pink on Fridays in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. In addition to wearing pink, employees participated in fundraising efforts for local cancer organizations here in the Upper Peninsula!
